Hi, I’m Amy, the founder of Young Roots Education.
Before Young Roots, I spent 16 years teaching primary school children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I’m fortunate to have worked with children from all over the world having taught in the UK, Thailand, Australia, and Hong Kong.
The seeds of Young Roots Education have been in my heart for many years and I’m thrilled to finally start this journey.
I’ve always believed my way of seeing education, curriculum and teaching is unique and special. For me, the most enriching way for children to truly learn and experience the world is through loving, playful, curious and creative eyes.
I founded Young Roots Education to bring my vision of education into reality.

I wanted to create an environment where children have the time to freely play, create, collaborate and explore, having their passions ignited while finding new passions. And a place where they can slow down and enjoy what they’ve learned.
Central to the ethos of Young Roots is collaboration. It’s my aim that each session is all about children and adults working together, alongside one another. By learning together in fun, creative and meaningful ways – families connect with others and can grow personally and socially.
I hope you’ll join me in the Young Roots community.
Amy
